Bright SDK collects a minimal and clearly defined set of data:
- IP address — Bright SDK knows that a particular IP address exists and is active. It does not know who owns that IP or any personal information about the user behind it.
- Depersonalized performance metrics — crash reports and network usage statistics, used by Bright SDK to monitor and improve service performance. These are not linked to any individual user.
No other data is collected. Bright SDK does not collect names, email addresses, location data, device identifiers tied to individuals, or any information that could be used to identify or track a specific person.
The full and exact list of data types accessed by Bright SDK (as declared to Apple) can be found in the privacy manifest file located inside the SDK framework bundle.
When updating your App Store privacy nutrition label, check whether your existing privacy declarations (for example, from an ad network already in your app) already cover IP address collection and analytics. If they do, no additional entries may be needed. If they do not, add the following at minimum: IP address collection for analytics purposes, and performance data collection for analytics purposes.
